Each spark plug on this outboard has its ignition coil. The high voltage current reaches the spark plug gap and jumps through, resulting in a spark. BRP provides and offers COIL & LAMINATION ASSY that is long-lasting and durable. It has a two-wire coil found in many 1.5-40 HP Evinrude and Johnson outboard motors.
