Description

The float valve is a simple mechanism to regulate fuel needs for the carburetor. The orifice (seat), the needle, and the float are the three primary parts of this float valve. The needle rides inside the orifice, when it is forced all the way in, it blocks the orifice and stops fuel from flowing into the float bowl. When the needle is pulled back from the orifice, fuel can spill into the float bowl. The float position regulates the needle’s movement.
