Description
The MDX-5 is a zinc shaft anode designed for 1-1/4″ propeller shafts, providing essential sacrificial protection for inboard running gear. Installed directly on the shaft, it corrodes first—protecting shafts, propellers, and nearby underwater metals from galvanic corrosion.
Constructed from marine-grade zinc alloy, it is specifically intended for saltwater environments, where zinc delivers stable and reliable corrosion protection.
